Telangana car accident: 7 of a family, including children, die when their car overturns in Telangana – Telangana News

Seven members of the same family were killed when a car they were traveling in overturned in Telangana’s Medak district, police said on Wednesday.

The family, who lived in Bheemla Thanda, were returning from Toopran when the driver lost control of the car and the vehicle plunged into a water-filled roadside well. All members of the family, including the children, died in the accident.

Upon learning of the accident, the police and local officers rushed to the scene to rescue them, but unfortunately all the family members had already succumbed to the serious injuries they sustained in the accident, the police added.

The Sivampet police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his shock and grief over the road accident in Medak district. Talking to the authorities, Reddy was informed about the road accident. He said it was sad that seven people from the same family lost their lives in the accident.

Chief Minister Reddy directed officials to provide better medical treatment and necessary assistance to the injured. He conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
