2024 Vessel Player V Pro Golf Bags Price and Features

Vessel, a golf bag manufacturer based in Carlsbad, California, is always looking for opportunities to make small improvements to their premium product line. Whether it’s adding an unexpected element of functionality or implementing a new fabric swatch, the brand has earned a reputation for its attention to detail combined with a preference for simplicity. And as the year comes to a close, Vessel has unveiled the latest version of its Player Series brand that, true to form, has only a few intentional updates.

Positioned as Vessel’s main support bag, the new Player V Pro continues to offer plenty of storage thanks to 16 pockets. And an ingenious rotating support system that provides stability with the carbon fiber legs extended or folded remains one of our favorite features of any bag on the market. This year, however, Vessel tweaked the 7- and 14-way fairways with offset dividers to make the golf clubs easier to retrieve and see. More magnetic pockets have also been added this time, with the rangefinder pocket having an internal divider for more efficient use of space. The bags come in black, navy, gray or white in a durable synthetic leather with a pebbled texture.

On the other hand, the Player V continues to offer many of the advantages of its Pro counterpart in a slightly smaller footprint. At 6.6 pounds, the bag weighs almost a pound less and retains the same number of pockets but with a smaller opening.
