Devils Dish: Nate Bastian reveals which teammates are most likely

A long time ago, I asked former New Jersey Devils forward Chris Tierney to pick a teammate to participate in the next installment of “Which Teammates Are Most Likely.”

See the original article for embedded media.

Without hesitation, Nathan Bastian said.

After months of waiting, I finally sat down with the Kitchener, Ont., native for the first installment of “Which Teammates Are Most Likely” for the 2024-25 season.

Q: Which teammate is most likely to walk in New York Fashion Week?

Bastian: Timo (Meier), maybe. I have a feeling that he is very interested in these things. I think (Jesper Bratt) is maybe the best dressed, but Timo could go a little off the board *pause* maybe a little.

Q: Which teammate is most likely to win an all-team pull-up competition?

Bastian: This is tough. I think Erik Haula. I felt that Haula did well on the pull ups. We literally did it as a test, so you’d think we’d know, but I don’t know who won.

Q: Which teammate is most likely to go on Dancing with the Stars and win?

Bastian: I’ll give that to Bratt. I feel like he’s good at almost everything, so he could probably figure out how to dance pretty quickly.

Q: Which teammate is most likely to host the rest of the team for dinner at their home?

Bastian: (Stefan) Noesen. He is everywhere.

Editor’s note: The question wasn’t fully asked before Bastian said Noesen. The extreme is indeed the host with more.

Q: Which partner is most likely to have car problems because they haven’t had their oil changed?

Bastian: Um Jack. sure jack Oh, Luke. Luke. Any of them.

THN: They were also the answer for peers most likely to not know how to change a tire. I’m seeing a common theme.

Bastian: yes

Q: Which teammate is most likely to write a memoir about their life?

Bastian: This is a great question. (Johnathan Kovacevic), Maybe? I totally see that.

THN: He took an unconventional path (in the NHL), so his would be very good.

Bastian: Yeah, it’s a little off the table with some things. I sure see it.

Q: Which teammate is most likely to win the Hunger Games?

Bastian: Brenden Dillon looks like a guy who could survive out there. Doesn’t he? look at him Yes, I would know.
