Financial difficulties at Father Law Home – FBC News

Baba Law House in Wailekutu, Lami is appealing for support from the public.

The aged care facility is funded primarily by donations from individuals and community groups and provides care to men and women who have nowhere else to live.

Facilities Manager Joeli Moceivale says they are struggling with cash flow to finance career salaries, pay bills and purchase food and hygiene products for residents.

“Father Law calls for financial support from the public to meet our needs. Cash flow is a big challenge at Father Law right now.”

Moceivale says businesses are providing support, but they still need help in some areas.

The home has also applied for government aid but says they must meet certain criteria to qualify for aid.
