Escape to the Country Hunter Admits ‘It’s Tough’ After Challenging Quest | TV and radio Show and television

Escape to the Country presenter Denise Nurse pointed out a major obstacle faced by two property hunters in the latest installment of the show.

The BBC show on Thursday afternoon introduced viewers to Rachel and Tom, who were keen to move to Shropshire with their canine partner.

They were open-minded about the location, but required Denise to remember several crucial requirements.

Armed with a substantial budget of £650,000, they were on the hunt for a detached home with at least three bedrooms and a minimum of one acre of land.

Denise first took the couple to a charming red brick house near the village of Prees, Wales Online reports.

On arrival, before even entering the house, Tom and Rachel were enthralled, with Rachel commenting: “It’s lovely! It’s a lovely looking house. It’s very quaint, it looks like a country house , like an old farmhouse”.

Their admiration for the house grew as they toured the interior and discovered the large 2.7 acres of land it offered.

However, the second home presented by Denise was just as enticing, leaving them with a difficult choice.

Pausing his hunt, Tom reflected, “Two beautiful properties with incredible potential and incredible locations. It’s been very difficult to compare the two.”

Rachel agreed and said, “Yeah, picking a favorite between the two because they both have things we like, it’s really hard to decide.”

Denise acknowledged their dilemma, noting that they were in a fortunate but challenging position.

He congratulated them: “You’ve been brilliant today and I love that you’ve been so open and flexible. I think that’s going to be your challenge, you’re open to possibilities and now you have to limit that thinking and choose something.”

Despite seeing one more property, the mystery house, Tom and Rachel had made a decision by the show’s conclusion.

In short, it was the first house they fell in love with and decided to visit again.

Tom replied: “All three were amazing and each one was what we wanted, we got to the bottom of what each property would give us and decided property number one is where we want to progress.”

As the show came to a close, viewers discovered that the couple had made an offer that was accepted.

Escape to the Country can be watched on BBC iPlayer.
