Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Minister of State, Housing; and Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad, Minister of State, Education.

President Tinubu, in the letter, requested for speedy consideration of his petition by the Senate.

Consequently, as announced by Akpabio, the Senate referred the presidential application to the Committee of the Whole for consideration very soon.

“Distinguished colleagues, the presidential petition is referred to the Committee of the Whole for consideration very soon,” he said.

Since the application reached the Senate on the last day of the week’s session, the red chamber can begin examining the candidates on Wednesday next week after receiving the required documents.
