Agatha Harkness “confirmed lesbian” in episode 7

Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness

The last episode of Marvel’s Agatha All Along has shown that Agatha Harkness was really one of us all along.

Warning: Spook-tacular Agatha All Along spoilers ahead.

Agatha All Along it’s all about big reveals, from the revelation that Joe Locke’s gay Gothic character “Teen” is actually Billy Maximoff, aka Wiccan, son of Agatha’s archenemy Wanda Maximoff, to the devastating death of Westview’s most beloved resident, Mrs. Hart (Debra Jo). Rupp).

There are three pretty big reveals in episode seven of the enthralling new series, with the impromptu one finally uncovering the true identity of Aubrey Plaza’s character Rio and the backstory of Patti LuPone’s Lilia.

For the sake of spoilers, we’ll keep these revelations under wraps, but it’s fair to say they’re game-changers in their own right.

However, probably the most exciting revelation, at least for Sapphic witch-obsessors, is that lead witch Agatha Harkness (expertly played by Kathryn Hahn) is, in fact, a bit of a nut.

Since the new series began, queer fans have picked up on a rather strange energy between Agatha and Rio, with an earlier scene showing Plaza’s mysterious green witch licking Agatha’s fingers.

The chemistry between the pair led fans to speculate that Rio and Agatha are more lovers than former friends, while some predicted that there was a lesbian sex scene in the future of the Disney + series.

Eagle-eyed viewers spotted an Intimacy Coordinator featured in the credits for episodes six and eight. While the sapphic sex scene didn’t materialize in episode six, it very well could in episode eight, especially given what episode seven just revealed.

The episode began with Wiccan asking about the supposed death of his mother Wanda, as he asked Agatha if she was “really” dead.

“Yes. no Maybe,” Agatha replied, adding, “Hard to say… If you want a straight answer, ask an honest woman.”

A second moment later in the episode also seems to confirm Agatha and Rio’s previous relationship, as, after confirming Rio’s true identity, Agatha quips, “What can I say? I like bad boys.”

While the jokes aren’t definitive confirmation that Agatha is a full-on lesbian, it’s certainly proof that she is. no a straight lady

Online, gay men are reeling from the revelation and feeling vindicated after weeks of speculation.

“This episode was very well done. Lilia’s backstory and the connection to the present, future and past. Wanda Maximoff might mention being alive. Lesbian Agatha confirmed…Marvel IS BACK,” he wrote a fan

“Agatha Harkness confirmed lesbian…THIS EPISODE IS EVERYTHING FOR ME,” shouted a second fan.

A third shouted: “GUYS. I love LESBIAN AGATHA HARKNESS!”

even RuPaul’s Drag Race Favorite Jinkx Monsoon joined in, tweeting: “You want straight answers, ask an honest lady.”

Agatha All Along is now available to stream on Disney+.
