A host of manufacturers have introduced special edition versions of their cars and SUVs for this festive season with the aim of attracting more buyers. Automakers like Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Mahindra, Jeep and Renault have launched special edition models. Read on to find out more about the new festive edition debuting this year.

Maruti Suzuki

Wagon R Waltz Edition

The Limited Edition Wagon R Waltz it gets some visual improvements along with some extra features over the standard model. Priced from Rs 5.65 lakh, the Waltz edition is available in LXi, VXi and ZXi variants. It gets fog lamps, chrome fog lamp trim, wheel arch trim, bumper guards, side skirts, body side mouldings, designer carpets, interior styling kits and chrome grille treatment. On the features front, the Waltz edition adds a 6.2-inch touchscreen and a reverse parking camera.

Swift Blitz Edition

The Swift Blitz Edition it is available with LXI, VXI, VXI AMT, VXI (O) and VXI (O) AMT variants and gets accessories worth Rs 49,848 over the standard model. Accessories offered include a rear underbody spoiler, a boot top spoiler, fog lights, illuminated door sills, door visors and side moldings.

Baleno Gift Edition

The Baleno get a special Gift Edition this holiday season in all variants. Complementary accessories offered with the Baleno Regal Edition include front lower spoiler, rear lower spoiler, two-tone seat covers, 3D floor mats, side moldings, mudguards, 3D boot mat, chrome trim for the grille and side rear, direction cover, fog lights on variants that do not come with them, a vacuum cleaner, a body cover, Nexa cushions, door visors, sill protectors, rear parcel tray, window curtains, tire inflator, logo projector light and chrome door handles.

Toyota

Hyryder, Glanza, Rumion, Taisor Festival Limited Edition

Toyota has recently launched a new limited edition version of the festival of the Hyryder, gloss, Rumination as well as the Taisor. All four special edition models receive free accessory packs to further boost sales. The limited edition of the Festival is valid until the end of this month.

Mahindra

Scorpio Classic Boss Edition

Released last week, the Mahindra Scorpio Classic Boss Edition is another special edition model with free accessories for the festive period. It has dark chrome applications on the exterior, along with rain visors, a front skid plate, a black powder coated rear guard and a rear view camera. The layers of the side mirrors feature a faux carbon fiber finish. Inside, the Boss Edition has black upholstery, cushions and neck pillows.

Jeep

Anniversary edition of the compass

Jeep launched the compass Anniversary Edition earlier this month at Rs 25.26 lakh. Based on the Longitude (O) variant, the Anniversary Edition gets a dual-tone hood sticker as well as a Velvet Red trim on the sixth slot of the exterior grille. Inside the cabin, the limited edition model gets Velvet Red seat covers, along with accessories such as an integrated dash cam and white ambient lighting. The Compass Anniversary Edition is available with MT and AT gearbox options.

Renault

Kiger, Triber, Kwid Night and Day edition

Renault presented a unique model of the day and night edition for its entire range in India last month, including the Kwid, Tribe i Kiger. Priced at Rs 5 lakh, Rs 6.75 lakh and Rs 7 lakh onwards respectively, the limited edition variants come with visual enhancements and some additional features over their standard trim counterparts. The special edition version is limited to a total of 1,600 units for all models combined.
