Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat recently shared candid revelations about the inappropriate behavior she faced from male actors during her early years in the industry. In a viral video interview, Mallika talked about how some Bollywood heroes would make late-night calls, hoping to meet them, assuming that their daring on-screen roles reflected their personal boundaries.

In a viral video that surfaced on Reddit, Mallika recalled her encounters and said, “Some heroes would call me and say, ‘Come see me at night.’ And I’d ask, ‘Why should you of coming to see at night?’ His response was, “You play bold roles on screen, so what’s the problem with meeting me at night?” He further explained that many actors felt entitled to cross personal boundaries depending on the characters which he performed. “They were thinking, ‘If he can do bold scenes on screen, he can also commit to us off screen.’ But I’m not like that,” she stated firmly.

Mallika also shared a troubling experience while shooting for a blockbuster film in Dubai. “The hero was knocking on my door at midnight and I thought he was going to break it down. He wanted to come into my bedroom. I said, ‘No, it’s not going to happen,'” she revealed. After this incident, the actor never worked with her again.
