University of Oklahoma suspends Phi Gamma Delta fraternity amid hazing claims

NORMAN, OKLA (KOKH) — Phi Gamma Delta fraternity at the University of Oklahoma has been temporarily suspended.

The fraternity was suspended due to the allegations in September 2024.

OU issued the following statement on Wednesday, October 23:

The OU Office of Student Conduct and Phi Gamma Delta International Headquarters have temporarily suspended the operations of the OU FIJI chapter due to allegations of misconduct and hazing beginning in September 2024. This chapter is in the process of conduct.
