At the time of the attack, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was holding talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin during the 16th Brics Summit. Erdogan condemned what he called an “heinous terrorist attack.” Al Jazeera informed

The entire attack was caught on CCTV cameras from the streets and TUSAS headquarters, and shows armed gunmen making their way down the street to the offices just minutes before the attack. Clips of the terror attack, now going viral on social media, also show the explosions and gunfire that killed 5 people in Turkey on Wednesday.

In the video, an attacker with a gun runs through the headquarters parking lot. The Turkish government has not yet released the identity of the attackers and no group has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack.

Another video of the terror attack showed two gunmen getting out of a yellow car in the middle of the street with assault rifles, shooting passersby. A passer-by falls to the ground, probably wounded in the shot.

Images from the scene of the incident released by local media just after the attack which took place at 15:30 (local time) showed large clouds of smoke and a large fire burning at the Kahramankazan site.

While no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, the Turkish government said the attack was “probably linked” to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which has been involved in an insurgency of decades against the government, as reported. Al Jazeera report.

“The process of identification and the search for fingerprints continues and we will say which terrorist organization was behind the attack,” adding that “the manner in which this action was carried out is most likely related to the PKK,” Turkish Interior Minister Ali said. Yerlikaya.
