Four Nations clash reveals 2024 shirts

One of the most anticipated events of this upcoming NHL season is the clash between the 4 nations. Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States will compete in a round-robin style tournament over a two-week period.

We only have some of the tournament details. The initial rosters for all four teams are known, but the final rosters will not be revealed until closer to the event.

While we wait to see the full roster of superstars who will be participating, the NHL and NHLPA released the first images of the team’s superstars in their uniforms for the tournament. In a press release discussing more details about the event, they shared an image that gave a look at the four jerseys that will be worn.

NHL pundit Frank Seravalli shared the image via his X account. The photo featured Edmonton Oilers captain and Team Canada representative Connor McDavid, Team USA’s Auston Matthews and the Toronto Maple Leafs, Viktor Hedman of Team Sweden and the Tampa Bay Lightning, and Finland and Carolina Hurricanes star Sebastien Aho in their respective country jerseys.

Along with McDavid, the other players already named to Team Canada’s roster are Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon, Brad Marchand, Brayden Point and Cale Makar.

Joining Aho on Team Finland are Aleksander Barkov, Mikko Rantanen, Miro Heiskanen, Esa Lindell and Juuse Saros.

Team Sweden will feature Filip Forsberg, William Nylander, Mika Zibanejad, Gustav Forsling and Erik Karlsson for Hedman.

Matthews headlines a group for Team USA that also features Jack Eichel, Matthew Tkachuk, Adam Fox, Quinn Hughes and Charlie McAvoy.

With all the talent sure to be on display at this tournament, it’s hard to pick a favorite. Each team could capture the gold, but their final roster will make the difference. The games will be played at the Bell Center in Montreal and TD Gardens in Boston.
