Ventia signs 5 million contract extension with NSW Public Works — Capital Brief

The news: Infrastructure services group Ventia has extended its government cleaning services contract with NSW Public Works, in a deal worth $125 million.

The numbers: Shares in Ventia were up 0.4% at $4.68 at 12:25 AEDT, having risen almost 50% since the turn of the year.

The context: The new contract will extend Ventia’s existing contract with NSW Public Works in the Hunter Central Coast and Western Sydney regions for a further year until the end of 2025.

What they said: “We are proud of our team of over 1,800 cleaners and supervisors who provide essential services to schools, TAFE campuses, police and ambulance stations and many NSW government agencies in Western Sydney and the Central Hunter Coast regions” , said the chief executive officer and general manager of Ventia.
