According to the sheriff, McDonald was “driving erratically” on a motorcycle on the 10 Freeway, just outside the Clinton city limits around 9 p.m. on Monday, October 21.

When deputies tried to stop McDonald, he allegedly left the bike on its side in the road and fled. The sheriff said McDonald was tased, but still managed to get away and ran into a wooded area. East Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies continue to patrol the general area.

An arrest warrant has been obtained. The warrant includes several charges including fleeing an officer, obstruction of justice, possession of IV drugs and reckless operation.

Sheriff Jeff Travis says the man has “a substantial criminal history.”

Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call the East Feliciana Communications Division at 225-683-5459.
