Bayou La Batre police officer accused of sexual misconduct with underage girls is fired

After a pre-disciplinary hearing Monday, a Bayou La Batre police officer accused of sexual misconduct was fired, according to Fox10 News.

The officer, BJ Squires, was placed on paid administrative leave a month ago after investigators searched his home.

The search came after Squires was accused of sexual misconduct with underage girls.

Squires has a separate complaint dating back to 2009.

Bayou La Batre Major said Squires was “fired and removed from the payroll.”
