“Characters are sometimes depicted topless for extended periods of time”: Dragon Age The Veilguard’s ESRB rating deserves its own ESRB rating

BioWare’s desperately-anticipated fourth installment, The Veilguard, isn’t due out until October 31st, but it looks like the action RPG might have already received a summons to the Cornish Jail. According to its ESRB rating, Dragon Age: The Veilguard might even reach Baldur’s Gate 3 levels of erotica.

“This is an RPG where players take on the role of a warrior (Rook) trying to defeat the corrupt ancient gods by (destroying) the world of Thedas,” he explains. ESRB summary for its “mature” Dragon Age rating. In the process of protecting Thedas, Rook, who is completely customizable from his class to his pronouns, will apparently choose to go super shirtless.
