Why are the poor getting poorer? Australian CEO blames ‘poverty mindset’.

A huge controversy broke out on the Internet about Joseph Darby, CEO of Become Wealth, claiming that the “poverty mindset” is one of the reasons that allows the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer.

In a post on LinkedIn, the CEO said: “The rich are getting richer. While the poor are getting poorer.

(But why?) It all comes down to mindset. “The CEO has listed few reasons that according to him are behind the phenomenon. “Blame the circumstances, focus on the short term, buy the passive, want the cheapest, think ‘I can.’ not afford that,” engage in poverty issues and thinking,” the CEO listed as reasons.

When it comes to wealthy people, the CEO stated, they create opportunities, plan for generations, invest in assets, look for the best value, find solutions with an abundance mindset.

“Now I’m not saying that external factors don’t play a role in wealth disparities. But here’s the thing: Your financial destiny is not set. Elon Musk, Oprah, and any number of other successful people made by themselves. They faced massive challenges, but they didn’t let that stop them,” the CEO continued in the LinkedIn post.

“You too have the power to break the cycle. And it all starts with taking responsibility for your life and refusing to play the victim. Instead of saying ‘I can’t,’ start asking ‘how can I?’ Because no it’s about where you start, it’s about where you’re going,” said the Australian CEO.
