Intel ‘Raptor Lake Refresh’ mobile CPUs leak with up to 14 cores and 5.8GHz boost speed

rumor: Intel has been reported to be preparing several new mobile CPUs in the Core 200H series, and a new leak seems to have revealed their key specifications. It also details at least two Core 200U series processors that could debut alongside the H series SKUs.

According to an X post by well-known hardware leaker Jaykihn, Intel is preparing at least seven new mobile processors. Five are part of the Core 200H family, while the other two are part of the Core 200U line. All are part of the “Raptor Lake Refresh” and are not architecturally tied to the Core Ultra 200V “Lunar Lake” or Core Ultra 200H/HS “Arrow Lake” offerings.

The high-end SKU of the Core 200H line is the Core 270H, which has 14 cores, including six performance and eight efficiency. It has a base clock of 2.1GHz (5.8GHz boost), 24MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 45W.

Other SKUs in the line include the Core 250H with 14 cores (6+8) and a boost clock of 5.4GHz, the Core 240H with 10 cores (6+4) and a boost clock of 5, 2 GHz, the Core 220H with 12 cores (4 or more). 8) and boost clock of 4.9 GHz, and the Core 210H with eight cores (4+4) and boost clock of 4.8 GHz.

The last two chips on the list include the Core 250U and the Core 220U. Both are 10-core parts with two P cores and eight E cores. However, the former has a base clock of 1.1 GHz and a boost of 5.4 GHz, while the latter comes with a base clock of 0 .8 GHz and an increase of 5.0 GHz. Other similarities include 12MB of L3 cache and a 15MB TDP.

The Core Ultra U series is obviously designed for power efficiency rather than raw performance and will likely find its way into ultrabooks and entry-level laptops. Meanwhile, we’ll likely see more powerful Core 200H processors in mainstream and gaming laptops.

It’s unclear when Intel plans to release the new processors, but it will likely happen alongside the release of the Core Ultra 200H/HX Arrow Lake CPUs in the first half of next year. Notebooks with Core Ultra 200V Lunar Lake processors are available for purchase now, while Core Ultra 200S Arrow Lake desktop chips will hit the market later this week.
