Biden is “deeply concerned” by the release of documents about Israel’s possible attack plans

WASHINGTON (AP) – President Joe Biden is “deeply concerned” by the release of classified documents about Israel’s preparation for a possible retaliatory strike against Iran, according to a White House spokesman.

US officials confirmed on Saturday that the administration is investigating an unauthorized release of classified documents assessing Israel’s plans to attack Iran.

White House national security spokesman John Kirby said Monday that the administration was still unsure whether the classified information that was publicly disclosed had been leaked or hacked.

Kirby added that administration officials “have no indication at this time that additional documents like this are expected to come into the public domain.”
