Joe Alwyn doesn’t let his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s beef with certain celebrities get in the way of who he mingles with.

On Saturday, October 19, Alwyn, 33, attended the 4th Annual Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Gala in Los Angeles, California. The English actor was photographed on the red carpet posing with Kendall Jenner, one of the most prominent members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, with whom Alwyn’s superstar ex-girlfriend has clashed over the years.

As fans know, Swift, 34, has a long-running feud with Jenner’s sister Kim Kardashian, who also attended, and Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West. Although Jenner, 28, was briefly part of the “Karma” singer’s girl team in 2015, the pair’s friendship was rumored to have dissolved after the drama between Swift and Kardashian went spend 2016 with the song “Famous” by Kanye.

In the photo, which also includes Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jenner stood in the middle, arm-in-arm with him kind of kindness star and Schwarzenegger, 31. The trio kept their ensembles stylish as both men opted for black blazers and trousers, while the catwalk model donned a long black velvet dress with cutouts.

Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts on the unexpected moment.

“I never imagined we’d get a picture with these celebs together,” one person commented.

Alwyn and Swift dated for six years before shocking fans with the April 2023 news of their split. A few months later, after a brief fling with 1975 frontman Matty Healy, Swift began dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, with whom she has been going strong ever since.

While the 14-time Grammy winner didn’t attend the gala, she also had a busy Saturday night as she played a sold-out show at Hard Rock Stadium. Swift started the final stage of the Tour d’Epoques on Friday, October 18 in Miami, Florida. The Tour d’Epoques will wrap on Sunday, December 8 in Vancouver, Canada.
