Cruel World reveals 2025 lineup with New Order, Nick Cave

Cruel World, the 80s-themed new wave and alternative rock festival, has revealed its 2025 line-up headlined by New Order and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

Taking place on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Brookside at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, the one-day festival also promises performances from DEVO, Garbage, Madness, The Go-Go’s, OMD, She Wants Revenge, Buzzcocks, Stereo MC’s, Chelsea Wolfe, Nation of Language, and Alison Moyet. In addition, The Cult’s Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy will revive their original Death Cult moniker as they perform a set of early material, and the original members of ‘Til Tuesday will reunite for their first performance together in 35 years.

Tickets for Cruel World 2025, including GA, GA+ and VIP passes, go on sale starting Friday, October 25 at 11:00am PT via the festival website. GA passes start at $249, while GA+ passes are priced at $349 and VIP passes can be purchased for $459.

The Cruel World appearance will mark the final date of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ upcoming US tour.
