The Pepco building in Wheaton was hit by a vehicle after the two-car crash

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a two-car collision in which one vehicle struck a Pepco building, according to MCFRS Chief of Public Information Pete Piringer.

The collision occurred Sunday at 4100 Colie Drive near Barbara Road in Viers Mill Village when one of the vehicles veered and struck the Pepco substation. The vehicle caused structural damage and a water leak.

Piringer said Pepco and WSSC were notified.
