Delhi Police has been contacted telegram after a blast outside a CRPF school in the city. Officials wrote to the messaging app seeking information about a feed he was sharing CCTV footage of the incident. The channel, called ‘Justice League of India,’ posted the images shortly after the explosion occurred on Sunday (October 20). According to a report by news agency PTI, the Delhi Police is investigating a possible Khalistani link to the explosion and have asked Telegram for details about the channel.
Police have also contacted other social media platforms for information related to the incident. However, Telegram has yet to respond to the request.
Investigations into the bomb blast that tore through a wall of the CRPF school in Rohini’s Prashant Vihar area are ongoing. However, no one was injured in the blast, but a sign, posters of nearby shops and window panes of vehicles parked near the site were damaged in the incident. Authorities are exploring all possible angles.
According to the FIR filed by the police (seen by PTI), it reportedly revealed the presence of “white powder” at the site of the blast. The explosion, caused by an “unknown explosive substance”, is being further investigated. Apart from this, police sources have also confirmed the recovery of CCTV footage showing a suspect near the school the night before the incident. These images may provide crucial clues to identify those responsible for the blast.

How can this Telegram post be related to the explosion

A Telegram post claiming responsibility for the blast also appeared on social media. The publication, allegedly by pro-Khalistan separatists, claims the attack was in retaliation for the targeting of its members by Indian agents. Authorities are currently verifying the authenticity of the message and investigating the possible involvement of pro-Khalistani separatist groups.
The post which was shared by ‘Justice League India’ Telegram post read: “If the Indian coward agency and its master think they can hire dirty thugs to target our members to silence our voice, they live in a fool’s world. They can’t imagine how close we are to them and how capable we are to attack anytime #KhalistanZindabad #JLI.”
“Police have written to Telegram seeking details from the group’s creator, Justice League India, in which the CCTV of the blast was shared with a Khalistan Zindabad watermark,” he added. . a police source said.
A suspect wearing a white T-shirt was captured on CCTV near the blast site the night before the incident. An IED is suspected to have been hidden in a pit near the wall of the CRPF school. A white powder found at the site is being analyzed by the NSG to determine the composition of the bomb. The attacker may have chosen the location to avoid hurting people, but still send a message, officials added.
