Liam Payne: One Direction star’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy seen for first time since death in Argentina

Liam Payne’s heartbroken girlfriend has been seen for the first time since his tragic death five days ago.

Kate Cassidy looked downcast as she left a pet store with two friends in Florida on October 20.

The 25-year-old broke the cover wearing no make-up, baggy gray sweatpants, an oversized T-shirt and Christian Dior slides.

The One Direction star died last Wednesday after falling from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room in Buenos Aires just days after Cassidy flew home.

The 31-year-old is believed to have been on drugs when he died.

Cassidy broke her silence on Saturday, saying nothing about the tragic situation that seemed real.

“Thank you for all the kind words and love sent my way,” Cassidy said.

“I’ve been completely lost.

“Nothing in the past few days has felt real.

“I ask and pray that you give me the grace and space to navigate this privately.”

Addressing Payne directly, Cassidy said she had lost “my angel.”

“You are everything,” he said.

“I want you to know that I loved you unconditionally and completely.

“I will continue to love you for the rest of my life.

“I love you Liam.”

Local police are currently investigating Payne’s death and are investigating whether hotel workers supplied the musician with drugs.

Investigators have also demanded a full toxicological examination before the One Direction star’s body is released to his family and repatriated.

It could mean Payne’s body must remain in Argentina for up to 15 days until the full results are known.
