Liam Payne’s ex shares his emotional final message to her weeks before death | Celebrity News | Show and television

Liam Payne’s ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer has written a heartfelt tribute to the One Direction star who tragically died aged 31.

The singer was on vacation in Buenos Aires, Argentina, when he fell from his third-floor hotel balcony. Liam died instantly after suffering “very serious injuries” which left him with “internal and external bleeding”.

Danielle, who was in a relationship with Liam for two years until 2013, had previously expressed her grief on Instagram Stories and asked for privacy during this difficult time, also advising her followers to take care.

She promised to “share more” about her emotions when she feels “mentally strong enough to face the reality of what has happened.”

The 36-year-old dancer shared a nostalgic photo on her page, capturing a moment when the pair were enjoying ice cream together in a selfie.

Accompanying the image was a lengthy tribute to Liam which began: “While we all take time to navigate a world without Liam, it’s important to remember that while he was adored by millions as a musician of world for the last decade, he was also someone’s son and brother for over 30 years, a friend to so many and more recently an uncle.”

He went on to reflect on Liam’s life, noting that “his biggest role” and something he was most proud of out of all his monumental achievements was being a father.

Danielle added: “The thought that there is now a child growing up without one of their parents is heartbreaking and unfair. To Liam’s son Bear as well as his parents and siblings, my love, thoughts and my strength goes to you.The magnitude of this loss is incomprehensible and I will continue to support you in any way I can.

“LJP, This still doesn’t seem real. Despite being aware of your struggles over the years, I waited and prayed that this day would never come. But now we all face the reality of living a life without your presence .

“It’s common at times like this for people to say, ‘I wish he knew how much I cared about him,’ but I know you knew how I felt, it was something we were very good at: being brutally honest about our feelings for to each other, whether the other wanted to hear it or not.”

She continued: “You were my favorite person in the whole world at times, but you could also mess with me so much and it probably annoyed you at times too.

“It was something we learned to accept from each other over 14 years, we could disagree on so many things but still look at each other in times of need and laugh at our disagreements and petty behavior 10 minutes later.”

“Our relationship may have ended in 2013, but it felt like it was only the beginning of our story. The things we lived and experienced between then and last year could only be described as unique to some and misunderstandings by others, but I think deep down we always knew we would have some kind of connection forever, no matter where our individual lives took us.

“It took you a little longer to discover the person you wanted to be to be your happiest self, but while most of us have our teens and twenties to learn about ourselves, you spent those years giving more to the world than you. I wish you knew that you were always more than enough for this world without having to look for a role to please others.”

In her emotional conclusion, she said: “Thank you for teaching me the importance of setting boundaries and that I should always protect my heart.

Getting a message from you a couple of weeks ago expressing your happiness at the love I found with Sonny and Mia is something I will cherish forever. I’m sorry your story didn’t end differently, and I’m sorry you never got to share your magic with the world. Rest my friend. Love Danielle.”

In 2022, the former couple appeared to rekindle their romance, nine years after their split, with the duo spotted leaving the Nobu Hotel in Shoreditch together. They were also spotted at celebrity favorites Chiltern Firehouse and Annabel’s.

However, the reunion was short-lived as Danielle went on to date former Capital FM DJ Sonny Jay, the Dancing On Ice 2021 champion. In May this year, Sonny and Danielle celebrated the arrival of his little girl, Mia.
