Coronation Street favorite Jacob Roberts, famous for his role as Christopher ‘Kit’ Green, has split from PR executive Amy Harris after a five-year romance. He added: “My mum and dad are really happy too which is lovely. My mum has always watched Coronation Street, I’ve always kept up too so it’s surreal to be here. Meeting everyone . from the cast and crew was fantastic, I really feel at home here.”

Elaborating on his character, Jacob revealed: “I’m looking forward to everyone getting to know Kit, but I think he’s going to be a very misunderstood character at first. He’s been hurt a lot throughout his life and even though he has a good heart, he has a lot of resentment very rooted with his birth mother, Bernie, who will be very interesting to play.”
