King Charles ‘amused’ by Australian woman’s unexpected antics: ‘super excited’

King Charles found himself amused by the reaction some Australians had to his arrival Down Under on Friday.

The monarch was greeted with an epic light show on Sydney Harbor and greeted by dignitaries on the tarmac, but was quickly ushered away from the airport, followed by well-wishers.

However, one scene caught Charles and Camilla’s eye and left them absolutely “tickled”, a source said. Daily Mail’s Rebecca English and Natasha Livingstone.

A woman in her dressing gown was “waving madly” at King Charles as he passed.

“She was obviously just getting ready for bed, but she heard the convoy sirens and was super excited, so she ran out. She definitely tickled everyone’s fancy,” the source shared.

After a day of rest on Saturday, Charles began his engagements with a Sunday Church service after which he met with the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, Sam Mostyn, and the Governor of New Wales of South, Margaret Beazley.

The monarch then addressed the Parliament of New South Wales to recognize the Bicentenary of the Legislative Council of the Parliament of New South Wales.

The king will hold several audiences before the tour moves to the capital Canberra tomorrow.
