DEO conducts surprise check in schools dist

District Education Officer (Secondary) Jagwinder Singh Lehri conducted a surprise inspection of Government High School and Government Primary School at Kad Gill village on Friday. The District Education Officer informed the principals and teachers of the department’s instructions. The official interacted with the students and received feedback on their studies. The DEO appealed to the students to concentrate on their studies. High School Principal Balraj Singh and Primary School Principal Gurbir Kaur provided details of the activities to the official. The DEO appealed to school principals and staff to motivate students towards sports and educational competitions. The DEO (Secondary) also discussed the Continuing Education Program (CEP) with the teachers. He also checked school records and student and teacher attendance. The DEO also advised school principals to motivate students to go to the school library and get books to gain more knowledge. The DEO also listened to the grievances of the teachers and redressed them on the spot.

District Education Officer (Secondary) Jagwinder Singh Lehri also paid a surprise visit to Government Higher Secondary School, Pandori Gola and checked the tests conducted by the department from time to time. He has also reviewed the CEP (Skills Improvement Plan) and the OMR sheets. Kamaljit Kaur, senior teacher of the school brought the activities of the school to the notice of the DEO.
