Karate Kid: Legends Official Poster Reveals First Look at Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio; See HERE

Karate Kid: Legends is the latest and one of the most anticipated entries in the film series. Meanwhile, to add to the excitement, Sony released an official poster of the film. The newly shared poster not only features a legacy but also features two legendary icons from their film franchise.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Sony Pictures handle released this incredible and intriguing poster featuring Ben Wang at the center.

For those who don’t know, Wang will be seen as the new protagonist named Li Fong in the film as he is seen striking an interesting pose, ready to strike down his opponent.

Meanwhile, with the image of a city and sun, we even see Mr. They have Ralph Macchio’s Jackie Chan and Daniel LaRusso looking right at us.

While the poster itself is very exciting and sends shivers down your spine, the caption we read along with the post makes us even more excited.

“Legends are forever,” read the words on the caption that shared a release date.

“Karate Kid: Legends, exclusively in theaters May 30, 2025,” reads the caption.

The upcoming film, Karate Kid: Legends, will be the sixth installment in this long-running and always beloved franchise. According to Sony Pictures Entertainment’s official statement, the project will be “the first to reunite the franchise’s two iconic characters,” referring to Chan and Macchio.

The film will unite two worlds of the Miyagiverse, which happens to be a term coined by the creators of Cobra Kai.

Miyagiverse is the universe of the films of the Karate Kid franchise that featured Mr. Miyagi by Pat Morita. It even includes the 2010 reboot that introduced the talents of legendary actor Jackie Chan as well as a young Jaden Smith.

While not much has been released about plot details for the Karate Kid: Legends movie, Sony confirmed that the film will follow Li Fong’s Chinese fighter-in-training as he seeks “strength and direction through the martial arts and a tough but wise mentor (or two),” by CBR.

The soon-to-be-released film will not only feature Macchio and Chan, along with Wang, but will also star Sadie Stanley, who will play Li Fong’s romantic interest.

Other names in the film include Joshua Jackson, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Ming-Na Wen, Aramis Knight and Wyatt Oleff, as well as Jennifer-Lyn Christie, according to the outlet.

The official release also mentions that the film will release exclusively in India soon.
