Victoria Beckham proudly declared her 13-year-old daughter Harper is ‘following in mum’s footsteps’ as she took to Instagram on Friday.

The 50-year-old fashion designer is in New York to launch her latest perfume, Reverie, which costs $319 a bottle.

Harper and her husband David, 49, have also flown into the city and the family headed to the sensory immersion exhibition to write down their dreams and put them on a wall.

To play with the product’s name Reverie – which means daydreaming – Harper wrote on two pieces of cardboard that he hoped to “create an amazing brand when I grow up”.

The teenager also wished that “everyone is happy in life”.

Victoria cut a casual figure in flared jeans and a gray jumper, with Harper rocking a similar look in a gray hoodie and light wash jeans.

Following high-profile collaborations with other brands, Posh launched an eponymous label in 2008 and launched Victoria Beckham Beauty in 2019.

Last year, Victoria’s passion project turned a profit for the first time in 15 years.

She told Vogue: “It’s such an exciting time. We’ve turned a profit this year. That takes time, especially for an independent brand,” she said of her brand.

“Now that I’ve laid the foundation of the house, the real work can begin.”

Earlier on Friday, Victoria was spotted stepping out in New York with a film crew.

It was revealed in August that Victoria was preparing to film a documentary about her fashion brand after landing a huge deal with Netflix.

Priced at £15 a bottle, the eldest of the Beckham children has created two flavours, Hot Habanero and Sweet Jalapeno, as well as a range of clothing products.

He was joined at the launch event by his wife Nicola Peltz, 29, who sweetly held his hand as they toured the store, before enjoying a ride in a shopping trolley to promote the product.

The famous Brooklyn family could hardly contain their pride, with dad David, 49, kissing his son on the cheek, along with mum Victoria, 50, and younger brother Romeo, 22.

Meanwhile, Romeo hit the runway at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month for the Balenciaga show as he cemented his foray into fashion.

Earlier this month it was revealed that Romeo had left his Premier League football club, despite being offered a new contract by Brentford FC in June, to pursue a career in fashion.

Fully committed to fashion, Romeo recently signed with Paris’ leading fashion agency Safe Management.
