The UT administration on Friday constituted the Departmental Promotion Committees to ensure timely promotions of Group C and Group B employees and expedite their delayed promotions in various departments.

According to an order issued by the personnel department, the four-member Group C Departmental Promotion Committee (for existing common cadre categories) will be headed by the head of the concerned department and representatives from the personnel, social welfare and regional employment department. official, will be members of the commission.

Similarly, the Departmental Promotion Committee of Group C (for common cadres), the special/additional/joint secretary (personnel) will be the chairman of the committee and the representatives of the department of personnel, social welfare and responsible for regional employment, will be members of the commission. .

The Group B Departmental Promotion Committee (for existing common cadre categories), the Administrative Secretary concerned shall be the Chairman and the Special/Additional/Joint Secretary (Personnel), the Director of Social Welfare, or his representative, and the regional head of employment, or his representative. they will be the members of the commission.

Also, the Departmental Group B Promotion Commission (for common cadres), the secretarial staff will be the president, and the head of the department concerned, the director of Social Welfare or his representative, and the territorial employment manager or their representative will be the members of the commission.
