Katya Jones takes a public swipe at Wynne Evans after ‘tapta’ drama | Celebrity News | Show and television

Strictly’s Katya Jones and Wynne Evans have tearfully apologized after the awkward incidents between them were caught on camera during the BBC show.

Now, after the “bump” scandal, in which Katya firmly removed her hand from her waist while discussing her performance with the judges, she is now back in the public eye. This time, Katya was taking a ride from her partner as the Welshman attempted to climb a mountain before his final rehearsals.

The banter between them picked up again, as he playfully scolded her for the chunky heeled boots she wore for the occasion. “I have to carry her up a mountain while she’s wearing those ridiculous London shoes,” moaned the opera singer in mock indignation.

He then asked her, “Do you know where we are going?” only for Katya to cheekily reply, “To get a bacon roll!” In response to his retort about taking her up the mountain, she replied, “It’s only fair, since I’ve been taking you guys around the dance floor all week!!”

The Instagram Stories footage, which showed the pair smiling widely, comes after the pair confirmed the much-publicised ‘tagging’ incident was a private joke between the two of them. They reiterated that they have a strong friendship, which viewers saw during their hiking video.

One follower took to the social media app to offer support and encouragement, writing: ‘Wynne and Katya seem to be enjoying each other’s friendship and the only people affected by this heartwarming story are be Wynne and Katya.

“Sick of all the dramatic people wanting attention. Finished, dusted and all now!!”

A second replied: “Amazing to see you both looking good.”

Others went on the warpath against trolls they accused of stirring the pot, after one follower bluntly declared: “Don’t buy it, sorry.”

Another insisted: “People are easy to fool, she hates every second of it.”

However, Wynne recently addressed the earlier incidents on her BBC Radio Wales show, telling the nation that she removed his hand from his waist and refused to join the high five he tried to give her. they were an “inside joke” to him.

The tearful dancefloor star revealed he was “absolutely heartbroken” at how a joke Katya had found hilarious appeared to have been misinterpreted by some members of the audience.

“Katya has explained that it was a joke. She has not been offended at all. She does not feel uncomfortable,” he explained.

He added that he did not know why he was forced to apologize, as he felt “as if he had done nothing (wrong)”.
