Iran’s oil terminal through the Strait of Hormuz is filling up

An oil terminal in Iran built to bypass the vital Strait of Hormuz appears to have partially filled with crude oil, offering Tehran a means to get some of its oil out into the world without using the waterway.

The Jask oil terminal, officially opened in July 2021 but largely idle as a cargo facility since then, was half full late last month, an image from the Sentinel website shows Hub. By mid-October, it appeared that another of his tanks had filled up as well.
