Madhuri Dixit and Shriram Nene post love-filled videos to celebrate 25th wedding anniversary

Actress Madhuri Dixit married cardiovascular surgeon Shriram Nene on 17 October 1999. This year, they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. To mark the special occasion, the couple took to their respective Instagram accounts and shared heartfelt posts dedicated to each other. On October 17, the Dhak Dhak girl shared a video with a collection of pictures with her husband from their travels together and various festivals. Sharing the video, Madhuri Dixit wrote, “25 years of love, laughter and countless memories with you. Happy birthday, mine forever and always @drneneofficial,” along with red heart emojis.

Shriram Nene also reciprocated the same love in his post, which he shared on the evening of October 17. The video started with him asking, “Madhuri, will you marry me?” The gorgeous actress playfully responded to the proposal by saying, “Again? Yes!” As the clip progressed, a voice in the background said, “In your life, there will be a few moments that change everything…”

Shriram Nene released the video with the song Tumse Milke Aisa Laga from Parinda starring Madhuri playing in the background. It included pictures of the couple from 1999 and other adorable glimpses of their day-to-day life.

Sharing the video, she wrote: “As one man said, ‘two hearts that beat as one’. To my soulmate and eternal love, the happiest 25th birthday. You are the most beautiful woman on the planet to me in all senses, with the kindest soul and the most beautiful smile. We have spent almost half of our lives together, which have been the best years of our lives, making memories, raising children, having fun and making an impact . As he wished his wife on their 25th wedding anniversary, Shriram Nene also included an additional clip featuring Madhuri and her children. In the clip, Shriram Nene was seen calling his wife to look at the camera during a wedding ceremony. The actress was lost in her thoughts, and after calling his name a few times, she finally responded by saying, “Haan.”

Talking about their love story, Madhuri once revealed that her husband was unaware of her celebrity status when they met. She wanted to continue like this until they were married. Madhuri said, “‘It was very important that he didn’t know me as an actress because then he would know me first as a person. When people have seen you as an actress, they have preconceived ideas… There was nothing here with him . I found the right person. I wanted to marry and I did.”

Madhuri and Shriram Nene had their first child, Arin, in 2003 and two years later, they became parents to their second child, Ryan.
