Neena Gupta takes a break to support Masaba and her newborn son: ‘He will join Panchayat 4 straight away’

Recently, Neena Gupta took to her Instagram to share the first glimpse of her granddaughter. Their daughter Masaba Gupta and son-in-law Satyadeep Mishra recently welcomed a daughter. In the midst of this, Gupta wants to be a hands-on mother and grandmother. In a recent interview, the famous actor revealed that he has taken a break to help his daughter settle into this new stage of her life.

In a conversation with IANS, Neena Gupta opened up and revealed that she wants to take care of Masaba Gupta as she enters motherhood. He revealed that he has taken a break from work and has also turned down some projects. The actor said that along with the break, he has also turned down two projects. He added that he would directly join the Panchayat assemblies. Gupta said, “I turned down two projects because I want my daughter to settle down. I have taken a short break for 2-3 months. Now I will join Panchayat 4 directly.”

The actor mentioned how he “enjoys” taking care of his daughter. In the same interview, Gupta talked about how the reality that she is now a grandmother is slowly sinking in. She revealed that she wants to help Masaba enter this new phase of her life as she begins to take care of her daughter. In a recent interview with NDTV, she revealed how her daughter had always hoped to have a girl. After welcoming her daughter, Masaba exclaimed how happy she was and how her daughter could use all her bags and jewelry when she grew up.

Masaba and Satyadeep welcomed their baby girl on October 11. They shared the announcement on their social networks. On the work front, Neena Gupta will next be seen in the Malayalam web series, 1000 Babies. The actor has also wrapped up Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino.
