Vicky and Donny visit Sienna in Hollyoaks

Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) will be left fighting for her life in Hollyoaks next week when she is injured in a break-in gone wrong.

The character, as viewers know, has undergone quite a few changes since the Channel 4 soap took a time jump to the future.

Sienna Blake (Anna Passey), aka the village inspiration, was livid with Vicky, who destroyed her wedding to soulmate Ethan Williams (Matthew James Bailey), who tragically lost his life on the day in question , with Sienna arrested on suspicion of murder.

But the show legend will get a big shock next week when Vicky and dad Donny (Louis Emerick) arrive at the prison to speak to her. The pair ask if Ethan was struggling in the wake of Dave’s (Dominic Power) death, a line of questioning that takes Sienna by surprise.

Vicky has turned her back on Sienna, who she tormented earlier this month, revealing she doesn’t believe the florist would have been capable of murdering her beloved Ethan.

An unexpected turn of events if ever there was one.

Later, Vicky struggles to come to terms with the fact that Sienna is suffering behind bars because of her and Robbie Roscoe’s (Charlie Wernham) cheating, but the question is, will she right this wrong?

The jury is still out, I’m afraid, as Vicky’s life will soon hang in the balance.

Robbie, who likes to think he runs the town, has a thing for Donny and the pair confront Vicky. Donny opens up about his financial problems, and Robbie suggests he work on making an insurance claim.

Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) refuses to get involved, so the dubious Robbie agrees to take part, accidentally injuring Vicky in the process.

Seriously, Robbie…

Vicky is rushed to hospital with a head injury, but will she be okay? That remains to be seen.

Ste and Rex hugging in Hollyoaks

Elsewhere in the village next week, Ste takes the next step in trying to find out the truth about James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan), believing that her husband is still alive.

She confronts Rex in The Love Boat, where she finds James’ tie, believing that Rex has imprisoned her boyfriend somewhere. Rex reveals why he kept the tie, but can’t explain the phone call, causing Ste to destroy the love boat.

Rex later tells his mystery persona about Ste, believing him to be a problem. As for who this mystery caller is, you’ll have to wait and see, but what we do know is that it’s not James, with star Gregory Finnegan essentially confirming that he won’t be returning.
