Fact-checking Donald Trump’s Town Hall Live on Fox Focused on Women’s Issues

PolitiFact is fact-checking former President Donald Trump’s Fox News town hall, which airs today at 11 a.m. ET.

“The Faulkner Focus” town hall with Harrison Faulkner, was taped on October 15 in Cumming, Georgia, outside Altanta. (Faulkner also co-moderated Trump’s July appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists panel in Chicago.)

The city council, as billed, must focus on women’s issues; Trump has called himself the “father of IVF” and said abortion should be left up to the states. In a press release previewing the show, Faulkner said, “Women make up the largest group of registered and active voters in the United States, so it’s critical that women understand where the candidates stand. presidency on the issues that matter most to them”.
