However, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s version, titled ‘Toba Toba,’ added a touch of humor to the song.

Chahat Fateh Ali Khan shared his rendition on Instagram, performing the song in his signature style. In the video, the singer changed both the lyrics and the title, from Tauba Tauba a Toba Tobawhile playing a guitar with the Taj Mahal in the background.

While some found the video funny, others criticized it for deviating from the original. One Instagram user commented: “Humans can sing in tune even by mistake, but neither did he here.” Another commented: “Toba Toba, you ruined my mood.” One person added: “You destroyed the song.”

Karan Aujla, the singer and composer of Tauba Taubacouldn’t resist reacting to Chahat’s version. He commented on the post saying, “Uncle na kro (don’t do it) please,” adding humor to the conversation. That comment seemed to resonate with fans, with one saying, “It was all fun until Karan Aujla commented.”

Born in Sheikhupura in 1965, Chahat moved to London after completing his studies at the University of the Punjab in Lahore.
