Mitch Cleary has the latest on the post-season GWS scandal

Several GWS players are facing match suspensions and several others could be fined as a result of inappropriate behavior at a post-season function.

Captain Tony Greene is among the other players to be fined, although he is said to be not part of what took place at the club’s event last month.

seven news’ Mitch Cleary, who told the story on Tuesday night, told Jacqui Felgate he couldn’t remember seeing a story like this in footy before.

“A number of players will be suspended or face heavy financial penalties,” he said Unit 3AW.

“I don’t remember anything like that.”

The Age reported later Wednesday that a blow-up doll was allegedly used as part of the event’s scheme.
