Khloé Kardashian is opening up about her skin cancer journey.

On Oct. 11, the Good American mogul took to Snapchat to share the results of facial fillers after a melanoma tumor left him with facial “bleeding,” E! news

“As a result of the surgery, and the tumor that my amazing doctor removed, I ended up with an indentation on the side of my face,” Kardashian wrote, per E! news “I waited 9 months after surgery to fill the indentation.”

Khloé added that she “had to make sure everything was medically safe” before getting the injections, waiting for her “doctor to give me the go-ahead.”

The 40-year-old first opened up about her skin cancer in October 2022, sharing that she noticed a “little bump” on her face, at first thinking it was a “zit”, for people. After seven months, he decided to do a biopsy.

“After a few days I was told I needed an immediate operation to remove a tumor from my face,” he continued. “You’ll continue to see my bandages and when I’m allowed, you’ll probably see a scar (and an indentation on my cheek from the tumor being removed), but until then I hope you enjoy how fabulous I’m making these look. the face”.

Khloé shared that she previously had melanoma on her back when she was 19.

“We should be checking all the time,” he added. “I’m someone who wears sunscreen every day, religiously, so no one is exempt from these things. Please take this seriously and do regular self-exams as well as your annual check-ups.”

Khloé also opened up about her skin cancer on Hulu’s third season The Kardashianssharing that “melanoma is deadly” and that the operation was “much more serious than I expected.”

Skin cancer is the most common cancer, according to the Skin Cancer Foundation, with one in five Americans developing it by age 70.
