Sam’s sister Billi commented that she was “so excited to be an aunt again”, while Lauren Goodger and Chloe Meadows also wrote congratulatory messages.

The couple became parents in 2020, with the birth of their son Abel.

Both Shelby and Sam joined TOWIE in 2018, and had a relationship soon after. However, it wasn’t long before she left the ITV reality show.

At the time, Sam said: “Juggling filming three days a week and trying to manage my various work commitments, it was no longer viable for me to continue with the show.

“After having long (discussions) with several people in the TOWIE production company, we made a mutual decision that it would be best for him to leave the show.

“Me and @shelbytribble have never been happier and we’re following our little fairy tale away from the pressure and anxiety of the show.”

Meanwhile, comrade ex TOWIE Couple Clelia Theodorou and Tommy Cole announced they were engaged.

Last month, they confirmed the news through a post in which their daughter Cielo wore a dress that read ‘Mom and Dad are getting married!’

The only way is Essex airs on ITVBe and airs ITVX.
