Ananya Panday is enjoying the success of her latest film, CTRL, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, in which she stars opposite Vihaan Samat. The film focuses on technology and social media issues. In a recent interview, she shared her affinity for posting crying photos on social media, believing that they enhance her appearance.

During a chat with Netflix India, Ananya expressed that she feels she looks better after crying, noting that it gives her a natural glow and glassy look. She admitted to looking at herself during the emotional moments and thinking, “It’s not bad,” before continuing to cry. She also noted that her best photos often come after tears, as it adds natural color to her cheeks.

In a previous interview, the actor talked about his penchant for crying. She stated that she struggles to express herself in stressful situations and starts crying instantly. Panday talked about how he prefers to step back in difficult situations and take a breather, even if he doesn’t like it. However, he acknowledged that taking a step back has always helped.

Panday recently shared that she feels uncomfortable watching herself on screen. In an interview with Humans of Bombay, she said, “I think I’ve gotten better at watching myself on screen, but when I first started, even if someone was watching a video of me on their phone, I’d run out of room.”

On the work front, the actor will be seen in a film opposite Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan, tentatively titled Shankara. Based on the book The case that shook the empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, the film will be produced by Karan Johar and directed by Karan Singh Tyagi.
