Nagpur: State Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the police have found some clues in the shocking killing of NCP leader (Ajit). Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar targeted the state government for the murder. “The Mahayuti government should put up a sign saying to the public, ‘You look after your own safety. We cannot ensure your safety,” Wadettiwar said.
Regarding Sharad Pawar’s criticism of the law and order situation, Fadnavis said, “Sharad Pawar is only focused on securing power. Even after such a serious incident, they can only think of come to power, but we are thinking about Maharashtra.”
Fadnavis said Siddique’s death was a personal loss for him. “It is a very sad incident as I had a very close friendship with Baba Siddique. We worked together for many years in the legislature. It is a shock to all of us.”
