About the Korean Drama Awards

Established in 2007, the Korea Drama Awards honors excellence in television in South Korea. The coveted ceremony is held annually in October in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province as the official main event of the Korea Drama Festival.

Nominees for the awards program are chosen from Korean dramas that aired on the three major broadcast networks (KBS, MBC, and SBS) and cable channels between October of the previous year and September of current year
