Alabama staff reveals why he’d go to war with CB Domani Jackson ‘any day’ – Touchdown Alabama

Domani Jackson raised his level of respect from his coaches and teammates last week.

The cornerback from the University of Southern California had to be carried to the locker room in Alabama’s game against South Carolina, but he didn’t drop it.

Jackson, a native of California, fought his way back into the game and made some big plays at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Jackson watched as his friend and fellow Mater Dei High School student, Zabien Brown, sealed the Georgia game with an interception. He returned the favor against the Gamecocks in the fourth quarter.

Jackson picked off LaNorris Sellers, his momentum carried him into the end zone, but he has the presence of mind to run the ball and run the clock. He celebrated with his teammates after the takedown as he helped the Crimson Tide escape with a narrow, 27-25 victory to improve to 5-1. Ha’Sean “Ha Ha” Clinton-Dix, a former All-American safety at Alabama, joins the coaching staff as director of player development.

The former two-time BCS national champion says he’d go to war with Jackson “any day.” Clinton-Dix shared a post on social media about how proud she was to see Jackson fight through injury.

Jackson sealed the game with his second pick of the season.

Now take that confidence on the road against Tennessee.
