Florence Pugh has made a different analysis Midsummer’s final scene five years after his liberation

The film is directed by Ari Aster and follows the story of a young couple Dani and Christian, who are on the verge of breaking up their relationship.

The young couple travel to Sweden to attend the midsummer festival which soon turns into a disturbing experience as they are thrust into a mysterious cult.

the movie concludes with Dani crowned Queen of May and choosing her boyfriend, Christian to die. Dani is seen wearing a floral dress and crown while Christian is being burned to the skin.

At first, Dani experiences some pain, but soon she can be seen with a creepy smile on her face that indicates she is happy to see Christian die.

In an interview with WIRINGthe Oppenheimer The star shared a different thought with the film’s director in the final scene.

She said, “So I have a different version of Ari, the director.” She continued: “The idea is that now she’s gone through a psychotic break. From the moment she decides, I think accidentally, Christian, her boyfriend, to burn herself, she keeps waking up and going back to this, like a break psychotic.”

He explained how he remembered his five-year-old self as he watched the rising flames.

“And when that moment happens at the end, where everything goes up in flames, I tried to embody what it was like when I was five years old on Bonfire Night.”

She added: “And how exciting it was to see the flames, and I wanted to go back to a very, very small, simple life of how simple things were made and they make children feel. Because at that moment, I assumed that she was ” there is no more.”
