Unemployment in London fell in September

The unemployment rate in the London region fell slightly last month.

The September number fell to 6.4% from 6.5% in August.

Stats Canada says roughly 700 jobs were added.

Nationally, the unemployment rate fell for the first time since January to 6.5%.

Ontario’s rate also dropped from 7.1% to 6.9%.
