Parking is expected to reach capacity at the Reno Tahoe Airport this weekend

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Reno Tahoe International Airport says it expects to reach capacity this weekend.

Airport officials say this is expected to include parking, surface lots and overflows by today, October 11.

They say the increase in demand is largely due to the Washoe County School District’s fall break, which contributes to a significant increase in commuter parking at the airport.

Passengers are encouraged to consider alternative transportation plans such as carpools, taxis, shuttles, or having friends and family drive you around to avoid parking issues.
