Pokemon Legends ZA Gets Massive Leak With Possible ‘New Info’

Sounds good…if it’s real…

Nintendo has surprised a lot of people in 2024, and not necessarily for good reasons at times. For example, we STILL don’t have any meaningful information about their next console, the Nintendo Switch 2, and we haven’t had a Nintendo Direct since June. No, we don’t count the Partner/Indie World Showcase that took place in August. It was nice, but it doesn’t count. The reason people are sad about the lack of a new, full Direct is that there are games that people want new information about but don’t get it, like with Pokemon Legends ZAfor example This title was announced during a Pokemon Presents event in February, but we haven’t heard anything since then.

However, a massive “leak” has been posted on 4Chan, and then a snapshot on Twitter by someone claiming to work for/at The Pokemon Company. They dropped a ton of information that helps detail what’s going on with the game’s plot, gameplay, and more. We won’t go into everything, as there are some endgame story spoilers you might want to avoid, but here’s the gist of it all.

First, as we already know, the game will be set entirely in Lumiose City. However, the twists are that it’s set a couple of years after Gen 6, and the city is going through a massive redevelopment project by a group called Quasar. You’ll join this team after choosing your character’s gender and venture out into both the city of Lumiose and the areas surrounding the city to help ensure the expansion goes ahead as planned.

This means you will battle and catch Pokemon within these areas and the city and then collect resources so you can make special artificial biomes for the Pokemon to live in. The more you expand the city, the more shops and “mission areas” will open up. it’s up to you, thus expanding what you can do in the game.

Gen 6 characters will appear in Pokemon Legends ZA in older forms and help out in certain ways, including fan favorite character Looker. As for the Pokemon you’ll supposedly get at the start of the game, that would be Froakie, Chespin, and Fennekin.

Oh, and for Mega Evolutions, they really are making a comeback, and the leak claims that outside of starters, there are about 30 Pokemon from numerous generations that are getting the “touch” for a new form.

Obviously, we can’t take this too seriously since it was posted by an “anonymous” source. However, given the details that have been leaked, it would be a lot of work for a fake leak.
