Tate McRae reveals near-death experience with The Kid LAROI

Tate McRae had a near-death experience this summer while water skiing with her boyfriend, The Kid LAROI.

During a guest appearance at The Capital Evening Show with Jimmy Hill on Oct. 9, McRae, 21, opened up on nearby brush with a whale.

“I didn’t realize what I was getting myself into,” he said greedy The singer said she went water skiing with LAROI, whose real name is Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard. “You know you trust your boyfriend, but jet skis are the worst. They flip every two seconds.”

After the pair unexpectedly dove into the water, McRae shared that she and he LEFT hitmaker found himself just “10 feet away” from a massive whale.

“I said, ‘We almost just landed in a whale’s mouth!’ Run for the hills the vocalist recalled, reflecting on the strange experience.

“The ocean is a really strange thing to me,” he admitted, sharing what exactly he feels underwater. “When we fell into the water, I felt this tingling in my feet and I thought, ‘We could die right now.'”

McRae and LAROI, 21, made their relationship Instagram official on her 21st birthday, July 1, 2024.
